Apple getting sued over disappearing messages texts.

Sorry title should say "imessages" not messages.

Actually, you were right. When its to non-iPhone users, its suppose to be sending a text message, but it sends an iMessage instead. So "message" would be more right (;

Sometimes when I receive a message from my dad, an iPhone user, I get it on my iPad instead of my phone and since I don't usually have the iPad with me, I may not notice it until the next day. I think it is related to my e-mail address (which happens to be hosted on Microsoft's servers) being used as a login ID my Apple account so maybe it is related to my e-mail address being stored as a contact. I've never had an iPhone and I've always been annoyed with the whole iMessage concept. These days most people have unlimited SMS but data is typically limited (I realize that messages use very little data) but more importantly there are tons more Android phones out there than iPhones so having the ability to text for 'free' to only other iPhone users defeats the whole purpose of being able to use data instead of SMS.
