Approximately how long will it take to release an official win10 update for phones?

I got only only one phone n can't take risk of screwing it as win10 right now is too unstable.

There's no official release date as of yet. Microsoft didn't say anything but that they were aiming for a summer release. Which could as well be September. Looking at the current state of the Windows 10 for phones preview, I have quite some doubts they gonna be able to keep said aim.
