Apps missing on start screen fix

If you take the new office apps or any other apps you can still pin to the start screen and group them your other group apps you had before you installed the new TP build will reappear. You may have to do this a few times depending on how many apps or folders you had on your start screen.

I'm not exactly sure what you are saying.

Half of the apps I had pinned to my start screen before this last update disappeared and I could not re-pin them because the phone said they were already pinned (option greyed out). They all happened to be inside folders also.

So, what he's saying and what helped me fix it was to drop some of my other apps onto each other to create a new folder on the start screen and voila, my old folders with my disappeared tiles reappeared.

Ah, got it now. Same thing happened to me.

Thanks! This works but folders get funky. You have to move some things around.
