I am bored of my iPhone 5, I want something new, bigger and exciting! But I have one concern of the 1520! So far none of the apps on the windows store support Full HD resolution that the 1520 will be using, so my question is will the apps have to be up-scaled and look pixelated slightly or will developers have to updates the apps themselves? I am worried because i know that apps in the windows phone store are not always the fastest to get new updates compared to new releases of android or iOS devices. Anyone with a 1520 yet to be able to put me at ease?

Actually... Updates get rolled out rather quickly through the store. For the popular apps of course.

Games aside (because I don't know much about game programming), Windows Phone apps are based on vector rather than bitmap layouts. As such, things scale nicely. For example, if a developer makes an app that's for "800x480" and asks for a font that's 28 pixels tall, when the app runs at 1920x1028, the OS simply renders the app at 225%.Graphics embedded in such an app are scaled.

Either way, you're really talking about scaling from 332dpi (on the 920) to 367dpi (on the 1520). Both of these are well over the 300dpi used for "Retina Displays." Any scaling artifacts should be fairly unnoticeable.
