Wow - I'd seen people complain about fake facebook apps, but I've never searched it myself. This is kind of a catch-22. Microsoft has taken the stand of not enforcing the IP rights of others, and I believe rightfully so, but that leaves this kind of thing possible. I don't believe it is Microsoft's job to enforce those IP rights, but at the same time, this causes a problem for them. I thought there was an article a while back saying that facebook had asked MS to remove those apps that were violating their rights, and Microsoft had done so. I looked at the first several on the search results, and they were all published in the past month. I'm going to take a guess and say that these developers re-published, or published after the time that facebook had made their complaint. There needs to be a better way, but I'm not sure what that way is.
