Are there any ways to transfer app data to a new Lumia? Not SMS or pictures.

I was sure that Nokia would have solved this before I got a yet another Lumia phone, but they aren't advertising it very well if they have. I just want to transfer app data to my new phone for a few apps, specifically Whatsapp and Rainbow Rapture.

Does Nokia Care Suite have this feature maybe?

Windows Phone 8.1 will include app data in backups; my best bet is to wait until the dev preview in a couple of weeks if you can, and update both phones to the dev preview and then copy the backup over to your new phone

For WhatsApp you can instead mail all your chats to your email id, if you are in a hurry to buy a new Lumia or dont want to void the warranty with the dev preview.

I always thought you didn't void your warranty with the dev preview....
