do you know the guy? Is he "your guy" or just a randomn ATT guy. The fact that he even knew what a WP was is an accomplishment.

He's usually pretty knowledgeable, he told me ahead of time not to expect the titan on time. That said, its not a fact, just what he told me.

Just for kicks I called another at&t store and asked about the Nokia 900, I thought the lumia part might confuse her. First thing, she corrected me: "Do you mean the Nokia lumia 900?" Nice!
Then, without hesitation, she told me they didn't have a date yet.
Very impressed she knew what was what.

You're right. However, some people think that if they're paying less than $100 for a phone that there's issues with it. When I worked for AT&T, I noticed this a lot...Filipenos were the worse.

I just called my store in Charlotte, NC and they said it was going to be available in April, but weren't given a date. Supposedly, they weren't given any other details.

What do you wanna bet these AT&T store people are just guessing based off the rumors? If they had information from corporate or whatever then you'd be getting the same info at all the stores.

It's amazing to me that NOK let's its customers' expectation get thrown around like this without even a sniff of a comment.

It's Monday March 5 and nada from NOK/MSFT/ATT.

I think the hype has been oficially killed for me.

My policy will be this:
I will buy a phone on March 18. I will first go to AT&T. If the Lumia 900 is there, I will buy it. If it's not there, then I will buy whatever the latest Iphone is either at AT&T or at Sprint.

I ended up with the Iphone. It turned out I was offered one free of charge from my new employer this week or I could use my own phone; which would have been a Lumia on the 18th if they were for sale. I asked the tech people at the company about WP and they said they havent seen one they liked yet. I told them that needs to change one day...but for now, Im back to Apple as I thought I'd be when MWC came and went without a follow-up announcement. Im just one owner; but NOK's launch process may have gotten me interested in them...but ultimately I have a negative feeling toward them through all of this. They cant seem to get their stuff straight and are absolutely dreadful communicating with their potential customers.

I'm an Android user and lover, and I was willing to burn my upgrade on the Lumia 900 just to give it a try, since I have a pretty recent Android phone that'll easily last me a while, and having the 900 would be fun. But I'm not waiting for the 900 anymore. This waiting game is stupid, and I'm not playing. I'm happy with my current phone, and I'll think about a WP7 phone again sometime in the future, but in the meantime I'm just holding my upgrade. I know the specs game is looked down upon over here, but the 900 is woefully out of date compared to both its iOS and Android competitors. That might have been fine a couple months ago, but not for a phone released April of 2012.

I 100% agree with being upset over the total lack of any official news while the rumors and internet run rampant with rumored release dates. Totally sucks and makes me feel like neither ATT, Nokia or Microsoft even cares. Anyway...I've been up for ATT upgrade since March 1 and my Focus is basically about to brick. It's hanging in there but it's getting frustating just waiting in the dark. I already pre-ordered 2/5 from the local Microsoft Store here in San Diego Cali and just called them hoping for a status. The girl that answered placed me on hold while she checked to see if there's any news or release information. When she returned, she let me know they have not heard anything on their side, understands my frustration and that I can come in for a refund. WTF? I was being cool and not aggro at all. What a crappy message to send out to someone who shelled out pre-order money a month and a half ago. An official release date shouldn't be too much to ask for right?
