Are WP8.1 features available on the new BLU Win JR?

WP8.1 features available on the new BLU Win JR

Been using the BLU WIN JR for a few days now.
Came with 8.1 installed, Added the Developer Preview.

When it turns off (goes to sleep) is there the option to "Tap" to turn it on?
Don't see it in settings. Is that a Nokia feature?

When charging, either USB on a PC or from the wall, can't turn the phone off.
It restarts,

Or if it's off it turns on, is that a WP 8.1 feature?
Wanting to know if it will charge turned off.

It's not Nokia only, but it does require the proper firmware that BLU has not provided.

It's normal for that device, yes. For example, I don't think HTC phones do that. It's just that BLU didn't code the firmware so you could be able to do that. Mine does the same thing.

FWIW none of the Nokia phones stay off when charging either.

I am amazed at how good this Blu Win Jr is given its price. It isn't as smooth as the 920 but is surprisingly almost as fast. Side by side opening apps, some apps open faster on the 920, some faster on Blu, some the same. Perhaps heavier tasks will be quicker on the 920 but for an inexpensive phone the Win Jr is pretty impressive.
