Sorry guys, MS already asked me to try out Windows 2010.

But don't worry, this isn't a version from the year 2010. It's actually the 19th version of Windows (they just skipped a few numbers, ya know?)

I downloaded the ISO. I'll spin up a VM to see what it looks like tonight. I doubt I will use it much for now, this is an early build. But I do want to see where they are going.

I will try it in VM, but will not be running it as my daily driver until it's officially released.

Using it right now. Had problems with starting up Catalyst to zoom in on my desktop, but apart from that, it's okay. Currently have it installed as dual boot which I'm glad about. So far though, so good. :)

Testing as main OS for few days atleast. And first problem was drivers as usual (oldish ATI HD4xxx series) and apps compability. Klite codec pack is unable to install.

Installed on 2 PCs one x64 and once x86 . Funny thing is that the 32 bit OS actually sees all 6GB on the PC, I can't remember if Windows Vista which was the last 32 bit OS is used showed the full number or just the max 3.78GB it could use

Even Win7 (AFAIK) could show more than 3.25GB RAM, however the OS can't use it. So still only 3.25GB.

My experience on my 2010 "almost gaming" laptop was interesting. Out of "the box" it sucked big time. It was slow as hell. After I ran the updates, it turned into silky smooth butter. I think its because it was missing the graphics driver and was emulating ALL the effects in the CPU which is a bad choice. Ironically I also believe this is why my wifi wasn't connecting. The CPU was so busy that it didn't have enough resources to process the WPA-2 encryption system and it just gave up after 3 minutes. After I updated the graphics driver the wifi connected instantly.

The only Windows preview I ever used was 7, since I hated Vista so much. Otherwise, I've always waited for official for Windows.
You don't seem the grudge type. So you and Vista didn't work out. Its not like Vista intended to cheat on you. He was young and just wasn't ready for your goodness. ::ducking behind the sofa from flying high heal pumps.::
