Hi friends

i am moving from Lumia 710 to Lumia 920.. im using the 920 charger at home and bring the Lumia 710 charger to my office for day charge if needed.. Is using lumia 710 charger safe / wont ruint the batteries on 920 ? i might be wrong but i think the lumia 710 charger charge faster than the lumia 920 charger, so maybe it is a bigger output charger and will it damage the 920's battery life in the long run (eg shorten the battery life because of fast charge)

thanks

No.

It charges faster because your 710's battery is only 1300mAh, while the 920 has 2000mAh.

If you go by proportion (which is only theoretical), it should charge about 40% slower.

Edit: and enjoy your Lumia 920!

The output power is written on the charger itself, i know the 920 puts out 750mA, the 710 one?

the lumia 710's charger output is 1300mA . thats almost 2x the rate of 920's charger.. is this ok and wont ruin 920's battery in the long run ?

The wireless charger puts out 750mA, the normal charger is 1300mA

See above, the 920's charger is also 1300mA

im using my 710's charger as well(1.3A). my 920's charger is 1A though. 920's manual say you can use nokias ac-16 and ac-50(1.3A) charger. 710's ac-10 is 1.3A.

It should be fine as the fastest rate it could charge would be 1.3A, according to the manual.

Anything at or below this is fine, though you could use something higher than this, like a 2.1A charger.
