[ask] Smartphone near laptop

Hi Everyone...

As many people told do not to put your smartphone near of a laptop / computer. Because either your computer or smartphone may be damaged.
So, I wanna ask. Is that true in your opinion? And how if the laptop / PC is turned off?

I put my Lumia625 near to my laptop when playing games or working, and I'm afraid that my Lumia can get some damages.

I don't think so. What kind of damage it can do? I remember back in early 2000's ppl used to say you can't put two cell phone close to each other. Supposedly they get damaged)))
My 928 is always next to me when I'm on pc/laptop and so far haven't seen any problems
