AT&T activation help

FedEx will deliver my new phones tomarrow. We are upgrading fom IPhones
My question is what are the steps I need to do to activate the phone.
I am getting a Replacement SIM for IPad. Do I use this sim and not the one in the IPhone?

I have a number to call, do I turn on phone and them call?

Congrats on the upgrades! My guess is all the instructions you need will be in the boxes.

Activation was very easy. There was a guide book that gives you a web address where you can enter your information to activate the phone. I received an error when I did that, and then called the phone number that was also very easy. You enter the phone number, billing zip code and last four of your SSN and the automated system activates the phone.

My SIM card was installed backwards out of the box. I followed the instructions and went online to complete the upgrade once I received my phone, and I kept getting a SIM error. I was about to call AT&T for help, but I decided to check on the SIM just in case. Glad I did - the SIM was flipped! I flipped it back over and turned the phone back on and everything worked fine.
