Ativ SE battery

My ativ se seems to be charging very slowly, ie 7-8 hrs for a full charge. Anyone else having this issue? Also, what good is a swappable battery if I can't find anywhere that sells the battery. Anyone have any luck on this one?

After a little more research, it looks like this uses the same battery as the S4. I bought an extra battery and dual charger, which should resolve my battery issues. I was spoiled by my 8x, which charged very fast and sipped battery life.

Also make sure the charger you're using puts out at a sufficient amperage. 1-1.5 or so. 2 is ideal.
7-8 hours is suspiciously abnormal, even for the slower wireless charging on some phones.

I do use the 2A charger that came with the device, and a 2.1A portable battery charger with the same results. I'll see if I get and different results with the new battery that's on the way.

Mmmm, when I had the ATIV SE for a week or so, I compared its battery to the one in my S4 and they were not the same.
Not the same physical size and shape.

Well, I looked it up by part number, and the one I ordered said it was a battery for an s4. It hasn't come yet, so ill post definitively when I get it.

received the battery today, part number B600BZ, and it fits perfectly and is the exact same battery that came with my Ativ SE. on Samsung's website, it's listed to work with the S4 and S4 active.

The charging dock for the s4, however, will not work with the ATiv se. The spare battery slot on the back is what I bought it for, however.
