Attentive phone update, the missing link to 8.1.1?

Just got an update for attentive phone. No idea what it does but now I can only wonder if this is to fix the 8.1.1 update?

Yeah even I got the update this morning on my 8X. I can't help but wonder if they are going to release the firmware update after I saw this. Hope they'd do it soon

I'm in New Zealand with a carrier free unlocked 8x running the 8.1 dp. Just did a check for updates & 3 times in a row i got a message saying "We are unable to check for updates" plus a set of brackets with no error code in the brackets. Never had that message before & now whenever I check it's back to saying that my phone is up to date.

I got the update as well. Let's hope that's what we needed for the fix.

i contacted htc and a represantative told me:
John, we have knowledge that the update will be released today, however you can contact your carrier to know when they will release the update.

It is the official 8.1.

so if we get the official 8.1 (i have the preview 8.1)
can we then take the update 1 to finally enable cortana and have live folders?
