Audio Input while Video Recording?

I think I know the answer to this, and I think it is no, but I'll ask just in case someone found a way...

I'm wanting to record my church's services, on video, and I'm wondering if anyone has found a way to take the audio input from the mic/headphone jack while recording video. I'm kind of doubtful, but though I'd ask.

I used my ear pods which does have a small mic to answer calls , tested this on default camera app , audio quality was so-so , as soon as I removed the ear pods , audio quality was great from inbuilt microphone on Lumia 920.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. The thing I thought of after posting is that the mic jack only allows for mono, while the 928 records in stereo using the external mics. Thanks.
