Auto-pausing flash content

It was reported a while back that with AU, Edge would begin automatically pausing "unimportant" Flash content (Just like Chrome, Microsoft Edge will start automatically pausing less important Flash content this summer | VentureBeat | Dev | by Emil Protalinski). Has this actually happened? Can anyone provide an example?

It's possible that it is working but that every instance is also blocked by AdBlock, so I'm just not seeing it, but I've never noticed Edge pausing a flash video...

It is an automated feature , which works on its own and could not be visible under adblock .

Here i quote the Microsoft edge team from their article :

"Peripheral content like animations or advertisements built with Flash will be displayed in a paused state unless the user explicitly clicks to play that content."

This is an interesting feature. Has anyone actually observed it working? I am for anything that stops the Flash pollution of content.

So it sounds like no one has ever seen this feature work, and it may not ever have been implemented.
