What's up with the full screen Hawaiian Tropic ad that can't be dismissed??? If you click on the X, it just comes back over and over.
The Mobile Nations sites are far and away THE WORST sites that I visit when it comes to ads. Between obtrusive ads that don't work right to terrible coding that can render a $2000 i7 PC with 32 GB of RAM to it's knees, you leave your users no options but to use an ad blocker.
Over the past few years there has been plenty of feedback from readers that the ad experience here is unacceptable but nothing has been done to address this. Don't want visitors to use an ad blocker? Do something about the complaints that people have and make your sites usable without them!
Windows Central is the only MN site I regularly visit anymore, because I've been coming here the longest and there's a smaller pool of sites with Windows content compared to other topics. There's no point in going to the other sites because there are plenty of other sites out there that give a much better experience. Please stop shooting yourself in the foot and back up the hard work of the content producers with a halfway decent website to showcase that content.
