Back button working sometimes only and search button not working.at all

Hi All,

I am facing a problem here my phone's back button is not working properly plus the search button does not work at all. This happened after today's Microsoft Health update. Any clues how to make it work properly I already did a Hard Reset but in-vain, I don't know if its because of Microsoft Health or something else.

Any help is appreciated.

Do you have a screen protector? If so that's most likely the cause, the 830's capacitive buttons are very picky when it comes to screen protectors.

No I don't use any screen protectors, is this a software problem or what, now even the windows button is not working properly....

Screen protectors make the problem much worse. My search button does not function, and the back button is a little unresponsive, with a screen protector. I punched holes in a screen protector over those two buttons. Now the back button works fine and the search button works MOST of the time!

My back button (RM-985) is the only one giving me grief, had screen protector since the first day but strangely enough it was slowly getting better over time theeeen... I did the Denim update and now it is 50% worse than it ever was, waiting for a sim adapter so I can switch phones before trying a full-on reset, hopefully that'll help.

Now, All the three buttons are not working and i have no idea why I really cant do anything
