Background noise when using headphones

Just got my Lumia 920 and I love the solid design. But when playing music with low volume (1 or 2), I hear this background noise. Searched the internet, seems it's not something new and others have had it:

I had an iPhone before and it had the best sound quality. Now, unfortunately it looks like nobody has come up with a solution for Lumia 920 yet. What can I do? Is it a hardware problem? Because I can't stand it. Listening to music is so important to me and it bothers me when I even hear pop/hissing noises whenever I tap on my keyboard!

I'm on WP 8.1, still no fix.

What headphones are you using? Do your headphones have a noise cancellation feature?

I don't want you to feel sorry but my HTC 8S doesn't have that issue regardless of the OS version, which is now 8.1 DP.

I'm using Samsung headphones and no, they have no noise cancellation. But they were fine with the iPhone. I also used the stock hands-frees and the problem still exists...

Are you sure? because I thought it's something general I guess I only have one option then...to sell it and go back to iphone
