Backing Up Apps Without Using the Store?

So I am in a little bit of a predicament. I need to do a hard reset, but one of the apps I need to reinstall afterwards has been pulled from the store. Is there anyway to back up the app with out using to store, so it can be side loaded later?

You would have to try to locate the apk for said app. I would suggest trying to see if there is one first before doing the hard reset.
