Backlight bleed at the top half of the screen?

Seems to be present on anything other than low. Anyone else see it?

On low the screen is a lovely deep black.

That is odd because AMOLED displays don't have a backlight, so it could be a hardware defect or display driver issue.

Well when I first got the phone. It was perfect. I've received 2 display updates since then. So I'm hoping driver issue

Just put it on automatic brightness and its perfect now..
