Backup & Restore: Only a few texts got restored

I flashed my phone today and only a handfull of texts seems to be restored. I flashed it a couple of days ago and all my texts came back. Are they lost now?

THey should slowly all come in. If you have a lot of texts, then it takes some time to restore. They

They never did come in. I got nothing after March this year. Im wondering if its because i flashed the phone twice and the first time didn't get a chance to restore all the texts so it overwrote them with nothing

This has been my issue for some time. People just assume that their messages are getting backed. We cannot see them to ensure that they are.

Microsoft are supposed to be the daddys of data storage but apple's icloud pwns skydrive. Hate to say it tho

Make sure you do a backup before restating phone. It works as should... Just not user friendly as it can be.

Oh yeah, you are hosed on receiving those texts.

I think they state to make sure you get on wifi once before you reset your phone with a text backup, I have done it before it and worked up to the day I reset my phone.

They should allow you to connect to wifi as soon as the phone comes on after a reset

Reseted my phone twice and got all texts back, you need to set it manually in settings for backup.
It isn't on by default.
