Bad Audio / Headphone Jack? Fix??

I see posts here and all around the web re: bad headphone /audio jacks on Samsung Focus and its siblings. Does anyone know a workaround or fix for this? Its unfortunately a "discard" issue for me as I'm a part time musician and use the jack a lot.

is there a usb device that can render audio ports?

You could use wireless Bluetooth headphones.

I know of 5 people in person with Focus (including me), and we have never had problems.


Remember, phone headphone jacks are different then typical. They are three ported and not just 2 ported, so two audio out and 1 in for the microphone.

It is possible some headphone connectors might not make the connections properly because of that.
