Bad battery drain after playing Halo: SA

Wp8 rapes batteries. Its pathetic how bad the battery drain issue is with wp8/apps.

@ Jojapath: ive tried several battery apps and they all tell the same stats (also apologies for the bitchy sounding reply i was pretty tired when i posted that lol)

my main issue it the fact it was perfectly fine before playing Halo, after halo, my battery has gone bizarre either draining far far too quickly at 11% per hour and dying in a few hours
it does seem to be better this morning though after a full charge so im hoping it was just a one off.
Amber apparantly gives a 10% battery boost due to reoptimizing parts of the OS so im hoping that will help too

No problems, apologies accepted. Don't worry about it.

I read similar battery behavior problems in another thread. Someone had battery problems after installing an app. Even after uninstalling it, the problem didn't go away.

Maybe the problems are OS related then.

for me just a soft reset (or in better case a simple restart) usually solves all stuck processes in the background. An occasional battery format never hurts.

and some battery apps are more equal than others

Yeah im going to assume it's OS related, it's a little disappointing and puts a downer on the wp8 experience, cos i love the device but these issues are a bit off putting

and yeah i tried soft resets too and it didnt go away either, but i and no one else should have to keep soft resetting their device to get it to function correctly,
atm, it seems much better so, only time will tell if its going to go silly again.


UPDATE: Playing the game after my Amber download/install it runs much better with less crazy battery drain lingering after exiting the game, i also decided when i play for a bit longer and the phone gets hotter to turn the device off for 5 mins to cool down and everything works fine as it should
