You should have used "a while" instead of "awhile".
"A While" is a noun, meaning "a length of time". "Awhile" is an adverb meaning "in a while"/"for a while". When using "awhile" , "in" is not required.
So the correct statement:
"I haven't done it awhile".

Therefore, you are Banned, for being a a man with great knowledge and not realizing the simple difference between"A while" and "awhile"...
