Band 2 bt range compared to Band 1

Wondering if anyone else feels like Band2 has to be closer to the phone to stay connected on Bluetooth than Band 1 did. On Band1 I could get notifications anywhere in my apartment with my phone left in my room ... now with Band 2, I pretty much have to be in the same room as the phone. Phone hasn't changed, just the Band. I'd sacrifice a little battery life (especially since I'm having to charge every day anyway) for a longer leash.

I feel exactly the opposite. Band 2 is giving me much better range and a much more stable connection.
