Band 2

Just purchased a band 2. Had it for a week now. So far so good. Main drawback, battery life. It would be great if there was a wall charger available. Being tethered to a computer to charge is inconvenient. Other than that, it's great.

The charger cable is a regular usb type. Just plug the cable into a regular phone charging plug and it'll work. It also charges the band in about half the time

Yea, maybe get charging it into your routine and it will be fine. I charge mine while reading in bed (before putting it on to track my sleep) and while in the shower. I never run out.

I thought about that. But not knowing voltage/current requirements of the band 2, I was concerned about too much current or voltage

Nope, you'll be fine I had the same worries so initially tried it out on my Band 1 when it was reaching the end of its life. I hooked it up to an old wall USB plug (I think it was a Samsung phone plug) and it worked fine. Since then I've hooked my band 2 up to Apple, Samsung, Sony and Nokia plugs and they all work 100%.
