Anyone use their new band whilst out mountainbiking/cycling??

Using GPS, can it log your ride? Be cool if they could link it into Strava [which i've never used as i don't want to risk smashing my mobile whilst out and about - not that it works now i'm a windows phone user anyway......]

Biking is mentioned on their promo page, but seems everyone here is a runner [not enough adrenaline buzz for me i'm afraid].

I Don't know about the band, however I user an app called striver. it is a strava client app and allows you to upload directly to your strava account.

Nice one, will check that out! Trying to find a dirt cheap 2nd phone that is windows 8.1 as don't want to break my 930 in a crash [i ride a bit of downhill/freeride] Could then use Striver for a giggle.

I see your dilemma, I have a 930 too. I do mostly road/forest and just keep it in my pocket as I don't risk falling off too often.

put it in your camelbak , display towards the bladder. it will be fine

I guess so, only takes that 1 bad crash though [and i do crash a fair bit on the jumpy tracks!!]
I've been riding this way since I first had s cellular phone, I've never broken a phone or screen. out will be fine.

I can't wait to use it while bicycling. Weather was too wet or too cold here since I got the band. I normally ride to work everyday when weather permits (no excessive rain or above 18F). Once I can give it a try I will let you know how it goes.

this is my daily home/work/home bicycle commute, I have slightly different route to avoid traffic sometimes.
The band worked great, although it does use up quite some battery even on a 20-30min trip. But it's very accurate.
