Band with jailbroken iphone?

Im thinking about jailbreaking my iPhone 5s. Does it unlock any features for the Microsoft band, or make other features unusable?

It shouldn't affect anything. I don't think much tweaking/modding effort has been put into the Band or other third-party watches + their respective companion apps.

A jailbroken iPhone without any tweaks is just about the same as a normal iPhone on the surface. (except maybe Cydia being present)

That is, unless you start fiddling with relevant tech like Bluetooth.
