[BAND2] Weather tile with iOS

weather doesn't seem to be updating and it always says it's for Redmond, WA. tried turning off the weather tile, then re-adding it with no luck. uninstalled MS Health app and after reinstalling it worked again, but only once, after it updated again it went back to Redmond, WA and then not updating again. anyone have this working correctly?

Where are you even seeing what area the weather is for? I can't find that. Since I live .25 miles from Redmond, the info wouldn't give me pause, but I would like to know how to set it.

Is gps on your phone on? I have the same problem with band 1.
If gps is not on, the weather tile get updated with a semi random city

Basically what gyhor said. The Band accesses location data from your phone to pull the weather information for your area.

If you have a Windows Phone and if you can access Cortana on it, that usually means you have location on since Cortana doesn't work unless it can get your location.

open the weather tile on your band and scroll all the way to the end. it tells you what time it was last updated and for what location.

yes, i have location services enabled both in privacy settings and on the general app section. the strange thing is that if i uninstall and reinstall the app, it tells me the weather for the correct location, but when it updates it says Redmond, WA, and then never updates again unless i open the app and sync at which point it keeps Redmond, WA.

I too am having the problem with the weather always giving me the weather for Redmond. I do have location services enabled for the app on my iPhone so I think it might be a problem.

I'm getting the same problem and the only thing that fixes the issue is to uninstall then reinstall the health app. It definitely seems like a software bug.

thanks for the replies and confirming the issue. i've submitted feedback through the app and implore you to do the same.

in the Microsoft Health app, open the hamburger menu, scroll to the bottom and tap on Help and feedback, tap Report a problem, and please describe the problem there and submit. thanks again.

Exactly the same thing happened here. Deleted the Health app and reinstall, good for a while, but failed after sync again.
