I think the best, and perhaps least discussed (I haven't seen it here or really in any reviews), is the recovery heart rate. It is under ending heart rate and has a one minute and two minute figure. Recovery heart rate is one of the key indicators of fitness level. I have not seen this available in any of the other fitness bands / heart rate monitors I have used. The key here, when not using a MS workout, is to end the workout right at the end when still at an elevated heart rate.
It would be great to eventually see some trending on this as well as the other key indicator, resting heart rate.

I've not paid attention to that but now you've pointed it out, it's good to see. After my last run, with an ending HR of 156, I was down to 70 in 2 mins. I'll start tracking that a bit more closely.
One thing I haven't worked out yet is the Recovery Time, which is showing 36hrs!

I see the figure. Can someone explain what that means?

It shows how quickly your HR recovers, from its high at the end of your activity, after 1min and 2mins. The fitter you are, the quicker your recovery time. As a one off, it won't tell you a lot, other than perhaps your HR is still high after 2mins, but you can track the metric to see how well your HR drops after the 1 and 2 mins intervals. (a caveat is also that the ending HR and the intensity and duration of the activity will have a bearing, so you'll need to compare like activities)

So, we basically should sit and wait for 2 minutes after we are done with exercises? Or is there any other way of measuring this?

Thanks. But mine don't show my heart rate at 1min and 2 min post workout. I see the headings in the app but no data.

Make sure it is tight enough on your wrist. I would say 1 out if 4 times it misses my 2 minute.

I found a few that had at least one of the two stats. My band is a small and as tight as it'll go. Not much more I can do. :)

This is what I was talking about when some posters here are complaining about why the Band is not really measuring your HR continuously.
For me, all I care about is my resting HR, max hr, reserve, and recovery. And for me to spot check my resting hr when I wake up or if I sleep track, my lowest hr during sleep is very convenient having the Band. And as Bregman said, recovery hr is a very good indicator of your cardiovascular fitness.

I don't think the band should be "as tight as it can go" to get HR readings. I don't wear my band tight. Snug yes, with a degree of movement available, but not tight. And I always have a cool down period after exercise, where I stretch out etch, so my band picks up readings during this period.

I can not figure out how to get HR recovery. I finished workout, but did not complete (stopped) workout on the band and sat for 2 minutes. I confirmed that all this time band was locked in on my HR. Then i stopped my workout mode on the band. I synced with my phone and there is no data on HR recovery. The rest of the data transferred without issues.
What am i missing?

This is my first fitness band. My favorite feature is that it automatically updates my workouts to Run Keeper and then to Loseit. Also it makes me happy when people ask me about it and I can seem all modern and cool for an old guy.

Another thing I love about the band is that I have had no technical issues with it. It has run perfectly!

probably i would be very helpful to have camera control via band, at least to take pictures
