Came up with this when a hallway issue occurred.

Rules are simple, say one thing you usually do whenever a condition (2 people converge, really REALLY crowded hallways, etc) occurs.

I'll start: When you see one part of the hallway open, user that part, regardless of directional flow.

Satire allowed!

When riding a busy escalator wide enough for two, walk on the left and stand on the right (in most western countries).

If you step on a shoe 👞, apologize.

It's not the shoe's fault it was in the way.

When you're surrounded by a group of people, make a run for it, then bring a ruler 📏 for their knuckles.

If someone bumps into you, say "sorry" because society has taught you to be polite and well-mannered, even if what you're thinking is anything but. 🍁

If someone drops something, and you like that someone, "accidentally" step on it. Then you'll have a 1-minute long conversation.

Serious question: What to do when this occurs?
o o. <random people
\ / going towards me
o < me.

And the hallway is crowded.

What do you mean what to do?
get out of the way, go through, around, phase through them physically...
