Battery Concern

Well I know a lot of people had asked this question but is it normal to use my Lumia 520 for surfing the internet using Wifi while charging ?

Surfing the web while using WiFi during charging should be less taxing on the battery than using mobile data.

So either ways the battery won't get hurt ?
