Hello! I have been using Nokia Lumia 620 for around two months and my battery has been draining fast i don't know for what reason.I have location off, mobile data off(use it only when i am out),wifi on only at home but still it drains out even when i text a little bit and play some game for 5-10 minutes. Can it be a hardware issue?
P.S. I tried hard resetting.

Shrey,no its not an hardware issue, infact the thing is that its a problem due to the OS itself. The reason sometimes being some background process struck in a loop.I had similar batter drains(lumia 720 3 months old). But now it runs fine and i can get 2 days straight without any problem, with mobile data always one(wifi on if dataplan is off) and i listen to music on commute. Make a habit to soft reset your phone every 10-15 days to refresh its OS state. Do not worry enjoy your phone,in time with future fixes your battery life will improve.

exactly how long does ur battery last?
check all settings.. nfc, BT, check background apps.. disable them. after u unplug the charger put ur phone on power saving manually. use battery monitoring app and do the following
* put it in airplane mode and dont use it for a few hours. u should see battery consumption drop to 0.45% per hour range.. my 920 discharges at 20% per hour when i use it continuously. if all this doesnt improve ur battery and if its still under warranty. take it to nokia care center. tell them ur problem and ask them to replace ur battery.

Go to settings. Swipe to the right for Application Settings. Open the Background Tasks setting.

Turn OFF the unnecessary apps by selecting an app and touch the 'block' button.

Blocking an app will prevent it from running in the background. Apps like WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook etc. consume a lot of battery.
Once you block the apps, you can continue using them normally. But you won't get notifications. To get updates, you'll have to manually open the app to refresh.

To unblock an app, go to the same settings, select the app, select the checkbox that says 'unblock app the next time I open it'.

Even i had the same problem.

But try the following :
Make brightness low
Location off
Background tasks minimum
Its works well.

recently i am facing a problem that my battery drains about 80% in night :p now dont know what to do :(

Alright I had the same problem. This started and I had no idea why the battery was draining. I tried everything from uninstalling all applications to switching all settings off. Nothing worked and I got an Idea that it was due to an infinite loop because even after changing the battery I had the same problem so naturally I did a hard reset. After reset everything worked fine till I installed the English(India) speech pack. After installing the speech pack the same problem started and then I realised it was due to the speech pack, after changing the settings to English(US) I got better performance as the battery drained only when I used network related app ie. Call, network search etc. There is no way to uninstall the speech pack installed. This is what I think may be the problem please check out you guys and tell..
