Battery icon in the status bar

hello, i saw this video: First actual hands-on video of Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 out there | nokiagadgets.com

and many other videos as well and all i've seen on the top bar is the hour (displayed in the top right).
now how about some battery display? can someone here who has an experience with windows phone tell me how can i add this icon? I mean its such a damn important thing to be able to see how much battery i've got left right at the top status bar.
as you can see, in the lock screen everything shows but as soon as the guy opens it, it all disappears, its just weird i really hope it's not like that. i wanna be able to customize what i see at the status bar.

by the way, did they add the numeric battery option?
I really think that precentage display would be lovely and could give more indication.

and one more question!
the nokia music app, does it work only in the us right now? or is it available in other countires? (not that my odds are great as I live in Israel and things tend to.. well like they like to put it "not available in your country"......)

The battery display always comes up in the top bar, but the top bar disappears after a second or two, and that behaviour is not optional.

When the battery gets low, the battery symbol stays on the screen the whole time (and phones with notification lights flash)

There is no numeric battery option for windows phone OS at all.
Another no-brainer feature that we still don't have.
