battery leak after soft reset!

i tried to clear the temp files by changing the date which messed up my nokia account which stopped working in nokia music/mixradio saying the date is too far off from todays date. i had to soft reset the phone and it solved the problem .
but then battery leak started! earlier all night it was just 1-2% of battery...now in the last hour 9% battery just on standby with no apps running?

does a soft reset cause battery problems?

Usually if the battery is draining that fast it's a background app that has gone rogue. Turn off all background apps for now and check if the drain continues. If it has stopped then re-enable those apps one at a time until the battery drain starts again.

no background apps running..i guess it stabilised after an update i got yestrday. hopefully no probs anymore..

That's weird. Tons of apps run background services...it would be odd for 0 apps to be doing that unless you already shut them all off.

yeah it was wierd. was first time it happened after i got the phone.battery was draining right after the soft reset.
