I get bout 24 hours thats browsing Facebook few photos and listening to music for about 1 hour playing the odd games as well. As well as talking and texting. Probably as good as my lumia 800 as I am using it more at moment on games and photos

Okay, here is a graph of my usage over the last week. I've noticed the battery discharges very quickly when using 3G. If I set it to 2G, then the battery discharge rate is a lot lower (You can see a slightly shallower graph in small areas of the picture above, when i disabled 3G).

The phone just about managed a full day, which is not too bad, considering i speak on the phone around 2-3 hours a day.

to dig up an old thread the new 8.1 update is killing my battery from what it usto be....increased battery usage by 50% so instead of getting a good 30+ hours im now down to about 16 hours... thats without major usage... it shows my main drain is internet explorer which i viewed for about 20 minutes in total during the day . seems IE11 kills the battery...

My 925 gets unplugged at 7:30 each morning, and without hardly any use (alot of email notifications go unchecked) except some light texting it is DOA by 10 pm. It's not great, but the sad part is it's better so far than my 1020 was.

I've had my phone for a few weeks now, I immediately put it on the developer preview, on both 8 and 8.1. Battery sucks. I browser the web a ton and text throughout the day and my battery life drops rapidly.

It's unbearable. I'm perform a hard reset today in hopes that it'll improve because right now I'm not happy with 8.1.

It sucks. Most recently I've been at a 16% discharge rate with 0 background apps running, glance off, and basically every bell and whistle off. Performed a couple hard resets recently and that didnt fix it. You also can't just pop in a new battery. It seems like you either get a good 925 or get a bad one.

My battery life has been great. I get at least an entire day out of my phone. I typically browse the web throughout the game and occasionally play games. I have glance turned on and battery saver turned off. Windows 8.1 actually increased my battery life since I used to have to put it on the charger as soon as I got home.

Same for me on both my 925 and 1520

Even my wives 1020 is better now.

After the 8.1 update, my battery has become worse. Unless I turn on battery saver I have a discharge rate of like 10% which is horrible. Hopefully an update will come to fix this.

Am I the lonely minority that has a decent battery life? :sweaty: It's not near what my BlackBerry Q10 was (That beast would go all day with web, texts, social, emails) and 10 hours later be only 75%.

There's a couple of posts talking about good battery life just two above yours :wink:

I doubt you will find many smartphones with the battery life of the Q10. A lot of that has to do with the smaller screen.
