Battery Life suddenly decreased

I used to get 2 days with moderate usage on my 521. Now I only get barely a day.:eck: What has happened? I didn't change the charger. Could it be the Preview for Dev app I just installed?

Try removing some of the apps you installed before this happened.. Also check the background services

Tried and still the same problem. Any other tips?

Hmm did u try a soft reset? Or u could also let the phone run on battery sense for a few days

I'm going to try the battery saver for a bit. If it doesn't, I will try soft reset.

We had the same thing happen a couple times and simply restarting the phone fixed it. It must have been an out of control app.

The L521 is an efficient phone but can be picky at times. There are so many reasons but just a couple: Turn off Double tap to wake up screen and also kill some background apps. Bluetooth doesn't appear to affect battery just as data when compared to some phones. One thing I really Ike about the L521 is what it does during idle time. I hardly loose 2% of battery at night. Impressive considering that my previous Android phones have this crazy way to drain battery even when the phone is not in use.
