15 months after getting the 920, the battery is starting to struggle to hold a decent charge. I live near an AT&T Service Center. So I inquired about having them replace the battery. They told me that the battery is completely internal an there is no access door to swap one out, so no. I said I only asked because they will open an iPhone and change the battery for you. They simple responded, "well, that's an iPhone...we do those". What the hell difference does it make? This is the kind of crap that is out of Microsoft's and Nokia's hands, that hurts their growth. Most ridiculous conversation I have ever had with a supposed service center.

Hey Guys,
I sent my L920 back to our Nokia Repair Center over here in Australia, where they charged me $90 to replace the battery in my phone (because the battery was out of warranty, although the phone wasn't) - the first few days of having the phone back, the battery life was heaps better! Then slowly, once again, battery life went back to not lasting a full day again - even if I did not use it much during the day.

I've tried disabling all my background tasks and similar, but even with a battery replacement I cannot seem to get the battery life any better.

Nokia also said my battery was 'faulty', yet, i'm still getting the same crap battery life out of the new battery.

It's gotten to the point where I seriously just want to buy a new phone and stay away from Nokia..

Edit - It's only been roughly a month/ two at the most, and battery life is poor again

Do you use an original Nokia charger/wireless charger or a third party product. I have heard that third party chargers can damage the battery over time. Btw. other phones have the same problem. My brother-in-law's iPhone is also about at 60% of it's original capacity after just 1 1/2 years. Because of that I hate built in batteries.

Nope, I've been using the charger that came with the phone, and the official Nokia wireless charger.
I know eventually a battery condition will get worse, but I just got this new battery and it's made little difference
