BBC iPlayer phone app will not play any videos

Everytime I try to stream a video I get an error message saying "sorry we cannot play that programme right now". I have tried reinstalling. Same problem. Any one else? I have a Lumia 1520

I downloaded it to check and the app isn't a web wrapper any more but a proper app...dunno how I missed the update.

Anyway the bad news (for you) is that the programs stream OK, both live and catchup. This is on the 930 so basically the same phone (apart from screen).

Yes in the UK. None of the programs stream. Tried WiFi and mobile data.

Think I solved problem. App was on sd card. Moved to phone memory.

Runs fine from the SD card on my phone? Did you move it or uninstall then re-install?

Uninstalled. Reinstalled automatically to sd. Then moved to phone storage.
