Best internet browser for wp8

Back under WinMo 6.5 I used to use Opera. That was a real good browser !!!

However I like what is built into my 1020. IE seems more then enough for my needs. Same for my Surface RT IE

uc browser was the best for me, BUT it becomes a pain when links in other applications open IE, so now i just use IE, its not that bad at all frankly

I'd really like to have chrome, it's the best browser ever, in computing and smartphones . I use IE although it sucks since I don't have much choice on windows phone.

You'll see chrome on WP about the same time you see an official YouTube app, some time shortly after hell freezes over.

That would probably be the HTC HD2, originally runs Windows Mobile 6.5 but has been hacked to run Windows Phone 7.x

I've been using UC Browser for the features, but on occasion, it will crash and the phone will restart.

UC Browser on its latest update rocks!, better than IE hands down, I didn't used to like it but the latest version is great.

I had 1 Nokia 3360 many years ago. After I killed it I went into Windows Phones and it's all I've had. My first ever Windows powered phones, were never made as phones. They had a slide in CF GSM unit
My Casio E125 and my Casio BE300


I then went to an Audiovox SMT 5600 ( HTC Typhoon) that ran Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, also Windows Mobile 6.1 and 6.5 thanks to XDA.
Next ( Second from left), HTC HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 for most of it's life, then a ROM switch to Windows Phone 7 ( I bricked it in an attempt to Run Android as I missed a step).
HTC Radar was my next Phone finished with it on Windows Phone 7.8, a friends son now uses it.

Now I have my Nokia Lumia 1020.
It's been alot of years but only 4 phones in total. And only 1 drop in all that time the SMT5600 ( it lived with only a scratch after hitting pavement).

UC is faster than IE11... I'm talking about 8.1 ..

Try Opera Mini browser. It's better than IE.
