best laptop 500 to700$?

i7 4th gen
8gb ram+
Loud speakers
Min resolution 1900x1080
Touch screen with w8.1
Decent battery life
Feel good to hold

Any suggestions?

Ehh, there's just so many.

I have friends who are perfectly happy with their Lenovo IdeaPads (vulnerable to coca cola though)

I'd avoid HP's consumer offerings, but they could've cleaned up their act, but I doubt it.
Dell is OK, ASUS too I guess.

There's so many I don't know a lot off the top of my head.

From Xandros's list I would go for the Asus.. Some people have had one of those for upto 5-6 years! I have an HP (Why you hating on HP man )
But in all honesty I bought when I was still a laptop noob.. Has served me well tho

Don't buy an HP. They don't properly cool their laptops which lead to a massive class action lawsuit. DV6 anyone?

Hahah you can buy an HP, but then you would have to pace yourself with the usage... Poor HP lol
