Best Lightning Option?

Is the best lightning option only available when RC and F is ON?
Not available when ONLY RC is ON and F is OFF??

Going to reach first week for using it now.

Rich Capture + Flash > Edit Rich Capture > Customize > you are selecting the amount of flash

Rich Capture + No Flash > Edit Rich Capture > Customize > you are selecting the amount of exposure

Either way you are playing with the light.


@AnubisJack... Are you shooting JPG + DNG? Try it with Rawer App on the phone and use Rawer to open the DNG high res files to tweak one of the bracketed shots. Then you can really see some things that the phone is capable of.

Edit Rich Capture? 950XL don have that is it? Only found out "Choose Best Lightning" and also only available for RC and F is ON ..

Hmmm... I'm using 8.1 + Lumia Camera 5. I get Edit Rich Capture for RC + Flash on or off... But only if I tap the thumbnail and enter photos from camera. After the shoot and you close camera, there is no Edit Rich Capture.

I still say try jpg+dng and use Rawer on the dng to get the most out of it.

yup, im using rawer since 1020 til now, there is always 2 picture in the rawer when taking dng+jpg in 950xl .... and for l950xl the best lightning option only available when rc and flash is on, even after taking a photo and enter photos from camera.

Couple of questions for you, if you don't mind;

1. Were do you find the Edit Rich Capture on the 950xl, and do you recommend it to be Enabled, or Disabled?
2. I just downloaded the Rawer App and does one have to upgrade to get any Edit Features?

the edit rich capture only on 8.1 lumia camera, not on w10, it consist of some preset rich capture like natural, artistic etc...
rawer have to upgrade to have the edit feature if im not wrong, bought it long time ago ...

Wait guys does that mean there's no manual HDR? because here* they say there are three modes, Rich capture on/automatic/off and I am wondering how do you do this ? Thanks
