I've been using windows phone since 3 months past launch, I'm aware of all the region tricks, etc.

Look, your comment just irked me. People always want apps to be free for some reason. You say you're a student with no credit card. Ok that I get (sort of, but I bet you spend more than $3 on alcohol/weed in a given month). But I do see your point. At any rate, I wish you well and hope that someday you'll have the means to support developers.

Haha, i dont do weed or alcohol. But I do spend money on tech a lot. Back in the symbian days, OVI store could use your phone number for payment and give it in your monthly bill.
Since Wp doesnt support that, i cant do so, which gives me no other option than this. I want to be a developer, so I know that craving people have for free stuff, and how hard devs work for it. But if it was me, i would do the same, a paid version for those who can pay/ a free ad supported one for people in the same situation as me.

1 Year Old Thread and still video players aren't good on WP lol. At the moment I gotta use both MX Player without .FLV format support as well as VLC Player(with .flv support) with some messed up bugs.

Moliplayer Pro plays them all with no hiccups. It's been out for ages and far superior to VLC and MX Player. Well worth the 4 or 5 bucks.
And please no "I don't have a cc excuses" anymore. Even if carrier billing still isn't available for you, which it indeed is in most countries in the meantime, just charge your Microsoft account. You can get gift cards pretty much everywhere.
