between black and white, which colour Nokia Lumia 1520 would you prefer & why? durable one?

My (glossy) white 920 still looks great after more than a year, caseless.

Is white glossy? I have a white 928, and except for like 2 months, I've had it caseless. It looks just fine. THere's no discoloration and scratches don't show up well.

No the white, black and yellow are matt and the red is gloss.

I have a black 1520 as well and it has held up nicely. Wish in had yellow though haha. I have the Nokia case with the screen cover and it has kept my 1520 from getting any scratches or dings.

Go for white and buy black protective cover and you will not regret it.

Thank you all for replying but I am still confused with the colour. :straight:

I heard scratches n bumps on black are more visible than on white. Also white is prone to discoloration, like turning off-white in few months.

Also should i use a case or not? i mean if 1520 needs a case or not? like i said i use my phones for 3-4 years. Suggest a case if required.

cases or not is a personal preference. I have had a white lumia 920 for over a year its glossy. I have had several different cases for it I like the amzer shellster, I have a silicon from amazon that was inexpensive, a speck hybrid, and three different horizontal cases 2 leather and one ecolife. The ecolife has held up well. With the 1520 I'm thinking about getting it The idea of a phablet id one I like. Im going to wait for build to see what's coming. The 930 I'm curious about, but if its the same size as the 920 that's kind of a bummer. I'd like at least a 5" scree. I'll look at the rumored HTC on windows phone if it is announced. I may play with the note 4 and get my first android (but it would very hard to leave WP)

Can you post some pictures of your white 1520 with black cover?

I have a white L1520 with white protective cover. The white cover keeps getting dirty and sometimes need to remove the cover while in public. That's why i suggest to go for black cover.

ok. so how long have you been using white 1520 ? i want to buy white 1520 but only thing stops me from buying it is that white colour might get discoloured (off-white or yellowish). Does it attract dust?

Three months and But most of the time I am using protective case. I have seen some one with black L1520 last week and it didn't look attractive for me. And did thought 'wow white is better'.

Always wanted to go for a different color but keep on ending up with black. I don't know why. It just happens. Black 920 then black 925 and now black 1520
