Glossy or Matt white? Please help!

Hi all! I am new here. I need an advice. Currently i am using nokia N8 but i want to upgrade and go for lumia. The fact is i have my mind set on Lumia 720 but i am nt able to decide the color yet. For weeks i have been pulling my hair bt to no avail! Seriously i am frustrated now! Someone please help me! Some are saying glossy is bad, it gets scratches easily and matte black looks far better and premium. I am totally confused. I like black and white both and have used a number of black phones in past. And since white is glossy, my question is does black look better than white or is white better ?
P.s. Are glossy more accident prone? Which one is good for a long term use because i want to keep the lumia for next 2 years.

Do I have to give you an advice for picking between white and Asian girls too? Go with a color that you like.

I like both dude! And that's the problem because many are discouraging me to pick the white one whereas having always used black earlier i want to try something new. And since i am nt much a fan of bright colours i dnt know which one to go for! What color are u using btw ? and have u any experience of how well the glossy serves?

Black is awesome! I have the black 720, they say glossy materials get scratched easily, but I don't know, I think the 720 looks awesome with any color!

that is soo right! All the colors look awesuum on 720! The phone is a beauty!

Well I had the same problem before. But I chose the white one because for me, the glossy finish gives justice to the sleek and sexy unibody of the 720. And oh yeah I paired it with a red nokia wireless charging cover it looks so beautiful

ah..ya that color is lovely! But nt sadly nt available in my location. so i will have to get a cover later i suppose! And oh ya the yellow one looks beautiful too.

same here! That is why i want to go for the white one! Though i love black but for this one i think white is best.

you won't regret it the 720 is one of the nicest phones around especially the glossy white. it fits nice in the hand not too big and not too small and light too. And with the black update it really completes the phone. if it had a sharper display it would be perfect!

Got a black one myself and gave a white one to my girlfriend for her birthday. The white one really is very special! To keep it like new I would suggest a cover tough. Try a red or cyan CC 1057 from Nokia. Perfect fit and good protection.

You're welcome. I forgot to mention that I also have the yellow back cover. It also looks good with the white one but personally I think red pairs best with white welcome to the Lumia 720 Family!

I have a matte black 920, and believe me, that thing is slippery! I once saw a white 920 at an AT&T store and it's of course glossy. Felt about 100% more grippy. If I were getting a 720, I'd definitely get white. You probably don't even need a case for it because of the gloss.

btw are the edge of the covers sharp? Because many times i have seen phones getting scratches from covers. :/

thank you! Yep! I have got the phone in my hands now and it looks really beautiful!! hm..i loved the yellow color bt since many are insisting for red, i think i will have a look on it first and then decide which one to pick!
