Just moved from a 920 to a 830. I don't use many tiles on start screen. Is there a way to make the tiles larger so it fill out the screen like they did on my 920?

currently can you get a wide tile and a medium tile to fill the width? That should be the default for both 920 and 830
I have wide and medium tiles.
On the wide it doesn't fill the screen across. Have black on both sides.
On the 920 it reached both sides

If I'm not wrong, the wide tile filling the width of the screen was because that phone you were using was still on windows phone 8 and not 8.1
However, can you go to settings > display or start screen? See if show more tiles is enabled and if it is, disable it
