I also emailed Sam this info as well but at present, there is both an HTC 8xt (that I gave to my daughter), and my Samsung Ativ S Neo under my Exchange server, and both have Bitlocker encryption enabled and have been running the developer preview for some time now, so if you are not using a Nokia WP, you likely have nothing to worry about if you have Bitlocker enabled and wish to use the 8.1 DP.
Just wanted to share in hopes it might ease someone's worry.
