Yes but if you try to add another phone, you will not get a discount, where as if you choose the iPhone, you will get a discount.

You can always "upgrade" to any phone at any time, the key is whether or not you are getting any sort of discount. AT&T only offers an "Early iPhone Upgrade", that gives a small discount to those upgrading to an iPhone early. Otherwise, everything else is full price till you hit the 2 year upgrade mark.

Thats strange because I am able to right now upgrade early to ANY iPhone, Android, Blackberry, or WP smartphone at the 2-year contact price. For kicks, I added the TITAN for $199.99 all the way to the credit card confirmation page. And I'm still at 17 months in on my iPhone contract.

You must be getting some special treatment then. There has never been anything in our systems to allow such a thing to take place. They call it an Early iPhone Upgrade for a reason. Haha. Maybe a corporate discount, or website mishap, or override specific to you.

I wish I could make overrides like that for my customers. Damn.

Also, now that I read you are 17 months in, certain customers can get full upgrades somewhere between the 18-20 month mark. So you may have just passed your 18 or may be near enough to your 18 month mark to qualify for a regular upgrade.

I went to the AT&T store on Sunday to check out the Titan and find out what my options were as far as upgrading and they said I was able to do an early upgrade even though I'm only 11 months into my contract. BUT, it would be the 2-year upgrade price PLUS $250. I'm really really hoping that the sale on Saturday includes the Titan (or any WP7s for that matter).

Does that mean that Titan would come up for like hour 1 -2 and then another phone comes up?

Plus that While Supplied Last Makes me nervous. They already burned me last Sunday with Stock issues....

I am sure it is a daily rotation. I'm much more concerned that it's for Win 7 netbooks, though. Mine comes tomorrow and I'll probably try a phone call with Customer Care on Saturday for some kind of price match, if the sale really happens.

I am really hoping it is true... It has been so widely reported that AT&T will have a major PR problem if it isn't true. It was even in the Washington Post...

It looks like Amazon Wireless is selling them now for .01. They are back ordered for 8-9days. And Amazon is basically crashing due to this sale of ALL of their phones for .01

Amazon does have it for $79 for upgrades. However, the site keeps crashing. I want to wait 'till Saturday but I'm skeptical if it will even happen for me. I've been calling AT&T and they keep telling me that they do not know anything about the 1 cent deal.
All I want to know is if it's an online thing only. C'mon!!!

While placing my order I called AT&T to verify the phone was in stock and was told yes. I completed my order which gave me an option to select current unlimited data plan for my data package. I was hoping my 2 day free shipping would have the phone here on Wednesday. This morning I checked my order status on AT&T's website and my order was backordered with no shipping date available. I called AT&T to check on inventory and they confirmed no Titan's in stock. I cancelled my order and was then told I could not place an order through the website for 72 hours. I ordered through Amazon for $79, Amazon estimated delivery date, December 5th. Hopefully AT&T will have stock for the Penny Sale on Saturday, Good Luck!

Usually the site says if its not in stock... there is no indication that it's sold out or back ordered or anything...

That is what I was told at the time of my order "In Stock", it was the next day (today) when I checked my Order Status did it say "Back Ordered". I called and confirmed that it was back ordered and then cancelled. I do hope it works out for everyone on Saturday, 1 cent is a great deal!

It may depend on your location. I talked with my local store last night night they said cant match att on line or amazon prices. So probably not. I am going to check on line with ATT about grandafthered unltd data plans as the store says you can upgrade and keep the unltd data plan if you already have it. I want to make sure that online ATT will allow me to do so also. Also will be trying to chat if possible with amazon to see if I can go through them tand keep my unltd data plan.

So I called AT&T last night and even though it took two calls and three different reps, I was told in-store would honor the sale price (when I called my local store), but they wouldn't work with me on an early upgrade. My upgrade is in six weeks. I'm already on-contract through 2013 and when I upgrade, I'd be locked in to 2015... you would think that would be appealing to them to want to help me out and get the sale price.
