Hey all,

I have a Lumia 920, I just bought a Bluetooth module for my car, iSimple ISHD651...So, I have it installed, paired the phone, says Connected Headset. Now, the device supports streaming audio, confirmed this with an Android Tablet, and old Android 2.3 phone I had laying around...my question is, why does the L920 not see it as a speaker? I have tried to hook it up to another bluetooth device (himbox wireless bluetooth) and streams fine to that. I also tried a Lumia 520 over it and it also says Headset, so seems like something with Windows 8.1...has anyone figured out a way to hook this up?

Same exact issue here. I love my windows phone and absolutely do not want to go back to Android or iphone but if I cannot connect my phone to my car bluetooth I am afraid I will have to end my relationship with my beloved 920. If anybody knows a work around please let me know. Thanks

Dunno, I have no problems streaming to the unit in my car (VW RMT 200) or my mum's Skoda (the standard VW Group 9w7 unit, in cars from around 2010 to now), and of course it works flawlessly with my Nokia MD-12 speaker which came free with my 930!

So WP8.1 is perfectly capable of streaming
